random family conversation that popped into my head
Me: *watching a Cowboys game* Marcus Spears, what a beast.Ian (12 year old brother): He's pretty awesome, not gonna lie.
Nikki (sports challenged sister): Guys, it's *De*Marcus Spears.
Me: What? No, this is my team, you're wrong.
Nikki: There's a D-E in front of his name on the screen!
Me & Ian: *both stare at the screen and then look back at nikki, simultaneously replying* That's Defensive End. It's his position.
Nikki: ... anyone want a cookie?
